I fell in love with movies when I went to college during the Sixties, when Truffaut, Godard, Bergman, Antonioni, Bunuel and others were inventing a new cinematic language that challenged the way we looked at film.  At St. Andrew's College and later at Jubilee United Church the opportunities to talk about films before an appreciative audience became some of my most rewarding teaching experiences.

My current project is a book on film, tentatively entitled:  Through the Lens:  How Great Directors Tell Stories.
